Ischemic colitis is thought to be an injury the colon as a result of reduced blood flow. Certain infectious diseases such Epstein-Barr virus can aid in reduction The insult range from inflammation and superficial full-thickness necrosis. typical regions affected are “watershed” areas colon: splenic flexure, rectosigmoid junction, right colon. Because patients present with wide spectrum symptoms vague abdominal discomfort complete catastrophe, diagnosis ischemic sometimes challenging make. Patients typically acute onset crampy pain usually pass mixed stool within 24 hours. Endoscopically, ischemia suspected presence bluish hemorrhagic nodules submucosal bleeding, cyanotic or necrotic mucosa bleeding ulcerations, segmental distribution abrupt transition point between injured normal mucosa. We case 80-year-old male history hypertension, hyperlipidemia, basal cell carcinoma scalp diagnosed associated positive B lymphoma.
